Ray Leger with Roy Rogers on the day Roy took delivery of his new Power Cat.
This shot was at the plant in Bellflower, Ca.
Roy and Ray were strong competitors in SoCal
boat racing in the early 50's.  Roy owned a major interest in the Yellow Jacket Boat Co.
and when the Power Cats began racing they soon become dominant, much to Yellow Jacket's displeasure.
Roy and Ray became friends thru boat racing and Roy agreed to do some promotional photo's
for Power Cat, many that follow in these pages.

Photo again at the plant in Bellflower, CA.
This with many of the people who worked in the boat plant.
Several of these men were with the company from
the very begining days.  The boys in the
boat are Roy Roger's
sons who came with him that day to pick up his new boat.

This is Roy Rogers with my younger brother Bruce Leger.  I didn't
go with my Dad to work this day and missed my chance to get my
picture with Roy...  Something I regret to this day.

This is Roy Rogers in his new rig on Lake Arrowhead in the mountains in SoCal..
He had a place on the lake there and he and his family spent much
of their off time on the water.  ( See he didn't allways wear a cowboy hat )

Again at Lake Arrowhead, a short time later when the boat was
re-rigged with 6cyl Mercs.
